Do you have a way to check the sample rate on the track?  I suspect you
recorded that at a lower sample rate than 44.1kHz.  You should be able
to check the sample rate - assuming you have a SB3- if you are playing
the track, right-arrow to more info, and if you scroll you should be
able to find the rate.
OK, you should also be able to check via the squeezecenter web
interface.
Drill down to the actual track and you should be able to see the sample
rate.

I don't think softsqueeze correctly handles rates other than 44.1 - and
I know that squeezeslave doesn't.  I'm not sure about squeezeplay - it's
supposed to handle all the rates, but my experience with some FLAC files
I have at 48kHz was they seemed a little slow and "tuned down" a bit in
pitch.
