Thanks for your reply. I think I will redo some debug logs and see if I can see or learn anything. The new custom-convert.conf and mplayer.sh files seem to have made a difference. I now see the word "connecting" on the soft squeeze display. It didn't use to say this so again, maybe we're making progress. At least I can now listen to BBC stations which is great. I saw your NPR plugin and would like to get that working, however, I suspect softsqueeze will be a problem there as well if the streams are wma.
Some URLs contain "formats=mp3,wma,real" as part of the URL. Does this mean that this station can broadcast any of these formats? If so, what selects which format you get connected with? Some of the WMA stations I'm having trouble with have this in the URL. Is there still support for softsqueeze or is squeezeplay replacing it? Softsqueeze is really nice when it works.
