Hunh.  I'm genuinely surprised that nothing is ending up in the system
event log.  Tenwiseman and I had a discussion about this very thing a
couple of months ago and I remember tweaking some parameters in
SCPowerTool in order to get a more meaningful entry in the log.  You

I'll revisit this when I start working on a more Vista / Win7 compliant
version of SCPowerTool.

In the mean time, I think I will try to change some of the logging in
SrvrPowerCtrl so that $log->info is the default and that just final
actions get reported there.
