Something I've never seen mentioned here, and if it has,please excuse me, is the fact that you can directly send playlists and music from the MusicIp GUI to SqeezeCenter. You just set up in preferences-Send To Squeezecenter as your choice. Then any mix you make you just hit the send to button and it will start playing on your Squeezebox. You can highlight songs from your library and send those too. Kind of nice feature for running you Squeezebox from your computer and a bit easier than the SC interface for some things.
