Gordon, quite unbelievably I am very busy these days, so I can't create a scratch VM install and test the scripts.
I am sure setting to the script dir is a good thing, but then again, I doubt this can be the root cause of Ian's problem. How on earth could a chown "delete a user" ? I am still questioning the sudoers edit. Whacking sudoers could lock-up a user account I guess (more likely than I chown, methinks.) Looks like using visudo ensures protection against concurrent access during edit and file integrity after edit. Google knows more than I do on this. I quickly found this thread, for example: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/323957/edit-etc-sudoers-from-script -- epoch1970 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ epoch1970's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16711 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
