Hi anguston, I too use Mythtv on the same box as Squeezeserver, and contemplated the same requirements you mention, but it just seemed to have too many potential issues.
You can ask myth to only lock the card when in use, but this causes issues if rely on the EPG program guide. Currently dvbserver.pl locks the frontend while it is running, so myth would not be able to open the card. While it is feasible to change this behaviour, there is still no clean way to get dvbserver to relinquish the adapter if myth wants to record. For me, the best solution was to get a cheap (£15 at the time) Hauppauge USB DVB-T adapter and dedicate this to DVB radio, leaving the other adapters for myth. Granted this isn't so attractive if you are looking to use DVB-S. Incidentally, for anyone wondering, I still plan add station logo support and make this a proper plugin in future, but its some time off right now due to other commitments.
