I will try a few experiments. I have taken 2 tracks without ratings and given them a rating through TrackStat. These are:
Can't Buy Me Love and A Hard Day's Night by the Beatles. I have rated them both at 5 stars (which is different from their proper rating within iTunes). I see if the rating persists through a rescan. I will also disable the iTunes Export as well. Do you remember me saying that if I set unrated tracks to take the albums rating then it rated all tracks, even those with the ' in them? Well I just checked them and they still have ratings, even when I disabled this option and rated all the tracks. Does that tell you anything?
