I hate shuffle, never use > it, wish it never existd!! and its driving me crazy using this app! > Looks like you have to get a bit familiar to your iPod. This works the same as in the standard iPod application: When in NowPlaying, tap the big cover, you get an overlay and can control shuffle as you like. No need to go to the web interface.
Also: How do you ACCIDENTALLY hit the "start shuffled" item? It's even separated from the other items by the section header with the album name. > > So, assuming its here to stay, whats the best way to avoid it, and how > to turn it off if you've accidemtly turned it on? > see above. Maybe you also want to have a look at the manual, it explains it quite nicely: http://penguinlovesmusic.de/ipeng-application/how-to-use-the-ipeng-application/nowplaying/ > > I find i keep getting shuffle when trying to add an album to the > playlist, i press top screen to get to add, but sometime 1 press once > too much and its Shuffle and i'm doomed! The manual doesn't make sense .. select lp, press > play .. no shuffle.. heaven! The album makes perfect sense. It doesn't say "press play", it says: > > Play Other Tracks: Play Other Tracks is not a Playback Mode but a > configuration option for Play Mode for selections with multiple tracks. > If you are displaying the content of an Album or Playlist, per default, > iPeng will try to behave like iTunes and play back the whole album (or > playlist), starting with the item you selected. When you are displaying > more than one album at a time (e.g. when selecting Artists->All Tracks), > it will playback the album you select a track from. > In other words: you select the "play" mode (that's when the "Shuffle" item appears. If you want to play an album from track 1, just select track 1. Done. No shuffle (it's even automatically being turned off if you do that). And again: This is EXACTLY the same behavior as your iPod has it. -- pippin --- see iPeng, the Squeezebox iPhone remote, at penguinlovesmusic.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ pippin's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=13777 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
