I tried the different solutions and it seems to me that th automtic download does not work. When clicking on the download link a long time nothing happens and finally the browser window was blanked. I tried this several times without success (sometimes the message appeared that the site is not available).
I then downloaded the files mixedtags.template and mixedtags.xml manually and compared these files with the files already stored on disk in Plugins/CustomScan/MenuTemplates/. While the xml files were identical the template files were different. I thus copied the new files over the old files, clicked on the "Refresh" link and restarted the controller. After that the menu now shows the second line!
