If AlienBBC is working (albeit stuttering) then there is nothing to do with stdout.
Stuttering with mplayer is generally either due to 1. CPU overload due to RealAUdio decoder and possible re-encode into Flac/MP3. TO see if this is the problem - find out the CPU utilisation. 2. Network overload if RealAudio is decoded into WAV but your network is not capable of carrying a WAV stream. To see oif this the problem do a network test to get max throughput at 100% sustained for at least 10 mins. 3. Possible memory overload - again check memory utilisation to see your system is thrashing. Problem 2 may occur after you apply fixes to cure problem 1. Things to check. * mplayer is tuned for your processor - make sure your mplayer is built with fixed point patch if your NAS processor does not have a FPU. * Under WebUI Settings/Advanced/FileTypes - make sure RTSP->Flac and RTSP->MP3 are both disabled. This make sure only RTSP->WAV is used but this may cause network overload. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62718 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
