I found the problem... I just could not see the Media Shares from my two laptops running Vista. For some unknown reason both of my laptops had the SSDP Service disabled. This is a common occurrence (bug) in Vista. Even enabling the Media Sharing via Windows Media Player did not get the SSDP service started. Once I manually set the SSDP service to start automatically... I can browse the Windows Media shares in the network and see the White Bear Media server. I currently have Windows Media Sharing and White Bear Server running in my XP SC Server and both services are available in the network. Thanks for your response... -- tamanaco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ tamanaco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4620 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63219 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
