Someone else has written a WOL applet for the controller that ought to
help in this situation. I don't have a link handy, but if you search
the forums, you ought to be able to find it.

When you say "in use by SqueezeBoxes"...do you mean actively playing?
If so, the "on idle" action will already be blocked. Or do you mean
you'd like to see menu-initiated actions blocked when players are
playing?

In terms of integration with Lights Out...I think this should be
possible. You'd somehow have to get Lights Out to create and delete a
block file (c:\windows\temp\spc-block) as states change. You could then
make SrvrPowerCtrl's on idle time-out very short...once it "sees" no
block file, it will take action.
