This is exactly what I needed...and as long as I'm keeping the OSX methods parallel to what I'm doing on linux...I think this is the approach I should use.
# sudo SystemStarter restart SqueezeCenter ..isn't always reliable with my quick tests. But calling SystemStarter in a script: SystemStarter stop SqueezeCenter /bin/sleep 15 SystemStarter start SqueezeCenter ..has yet to fail. Again, I feel a little embarrassed that I'm opting for the primitive-Pete approach and eschewing your more sophisticated solution...turning down your offer of a nice Côtes du Rhône in favor of a bottle of Budweiser. -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521
