I think a lot of mac users will choose the easy way... Full disclosure
on the scripts is very nice in any case. 

But if I were you, I'd ask what the Slim/Logi people think about this:

a) I think the plugin is a serious candidate for the "recommended
plugins" roster in Extensions Installer. IMO, they won't promote its use
if they see security risks in the installer design.
b) I wonder how many will be in my case ? Besides, I think I have read
in the Beta thread that Michael has been reworking the paths for SBS on
mac, and has an automagic migration procedure from the old paths.
Perhaps he'll do something for ye olde ~/Library/SlimServer...
