I'm seeing the same issue as knigma - I'm running SC 7.3.3 on a Sheevaplug under Ubuntu 9.04 with a local build of standard faad and standard flac, so obviously I need the patches to make that method work.
However, I'd rather not have the plug do transcoding as it's not that powerful (no FPU) - is there a way to use the MP3 streams from the BBC and just have the player decode them natively?
