Nice app, if I could get it to work! I have read this thread, but no one seems to be having the same sorts of issues I am having.
I am using an iPod Touch, not iPhone, so all my streaming is across my own wifi network. I can stream fine from Squeeze Center across this network to Winamp, and iTunes running on a wi-fi enabled laptop, so my setup should be OK. But when I try Squeeze Mobile it never plays reliably, generally stopping playing after about the first second, and often bombing out to the home screen. I once did get it to play for a full two minutes, but then it died again :-( I am playing flac files, as pretty much all my collection is flac, and lame is transcoding fine. I am running 7.4.1 of Squeeze Center on Win2K3 Server on an Intel dual core PC (6420 @ 2.13 GHz) with 2Gb RAM. When transcoding flac for Winamp the PC is cruising at about 3 or 4% CPU load. I have tried sitting in various different parts of my house thinking it may just be network connection, but it makes no difference. Sometimes it seems that it has a problem flushing the buffer as I can choose to play a song, but the song it starts to play is the previous one it was attempting to play.
