Hi bpa, It's running on 3.0 GHz Pentium D machine with 3 Gig of RAM. It's wired to my Linksys N router (can't remember the model) But, yes, I do get a buffering message when I get the drop outs.
The PC is a dedicated 'server' but is also running Twonky and Netgear DEW for an EVA8000. It's very unlikely that moer than one of these would be actively streaming at any one time. Given that I can wirelessly stream FLAC files to the Boom with no problems at all I'd assumed my networks was 'good enough' for internet radio - maybe iI was wrong?
