This is an issue I have had every time I have performed a fresh install of Squeezebox Server. This time I experienced it on a friends brand new Windows 7 machine so thought it worth bringing up again.
I downloaded and installed SBS 7.4.1. Once installed I went to plugins/ED page and attempted to uninstall all extraneous plugins (shops, ones for players other than the SB Classic, unrequired services etc). It took *at least* 5 attempts to get them to appear to be uninstalled, including restarting SBS and refreshing and closing down the web GUI. The Amazon plugin was noticeably persistent. Installing new plugins was even harder, in fact I gave up in the end. First I checked the "update plugins automatically" and "show all third party plugins" boxes and then attempted to install all the Info Browser addons and Michael Hergers Biography and Album Review plugins, but however many SBS and browser restarts I did I could not get all of them listed as installed. It was also noticeable that only after some attempts to install them did ED tell me I needed to restart SBS. MC -- ModelCitizen Think the third party Squeeze plugins and applets are important?
