I'm also pretty sure LIRC can't describe the Denon protocol properly for
the reason Bluegaspode gave (no way to spicify the pause and have
variable data either side of it). You could have a lirc file for
Denon{1} and one for Denon{2} and string to two components together in
SqueezeIR but that's ugly.
I'll add native Denon support into the next release as it's looking to
be fairly common (rather like RC5 & NEC) and shouldn't be too hard to
code. But then what shall I call my current Denon protocol? NAD maybe
looking back through the thread? There's still going to be a bit of
work involved as we don't know whether the LIRC file is for the first or
second half of the command and the LIRC data will probably need
bit-reversing if previous experience is anything to go by;)
