The iPod app doesn't have a current playlist it could destroy or it would do that all the time. It only has a very nasty and inconvenient way to build an "on-the-go" playlist which you can then play. It's not a goal of iPeng to be consistent with the native iPod App, i just borrowed the idea of the "Play Shuffled" item from it which should be familiar for iPhone users but obviously isn't. After you've destroyed a playlist once through "Touch Album" you know what happens, as you can see on the poll a lot of people use it.
