Ah, if the developer has been hired by Logitech that changes things a little.
Technically, it is not treading on their toes completely because the harmony range go much further. With my suggestion, I would still need the original remotes supplied with my components, I would just be using the SB to cause more things to happen with a single key press. i.e. I would use my DVD remote to issue a DVD power on code. The squeezebox would see this and in return issue amp on and amp input select codes. Ultimately I would love a harmony remote, but the minister for interior affairs/scrutineer of the joint bank account can't see the benefit. :-( If the plug in is open source, then I might have a dig about in it myself.
