Switch SrvrPowerCtrl's logging to 'debug' (SBS > Settings->Advanced->Logging) and try to replicate the same conditions. > Let's see where SrvrPowerCtrl is going wrong here. Thanks. The backup still > has some way to go so I've enabled logging & repeated the exercise. This is the only thing that appears in the SBS log at presumably the moment the server was put to sleep:
-[10-01-26 16:47:40.0159] Plugins::SrvrPowerCtrl::Util::SystemExecCmd (837) no modelName: no name executing command: C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /C start /B scpowertool.exe --standby -q --log=C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Squeezebox\Logs\srvrpowerctrl.log- This was approx. half an hour after I'd set the random play going & there's nothing else until I came back in & woke the server. I guess there could be any number of reasons for the random play crapping out. My real concern is as I said before, I'm sure the released SPC under 7.3.x didn't initiate an action while the system was busy doing something else. -- rbz5416 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rbz5416's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12089 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
