On my new Ubuntu server it takes about 1 hour to clear and rescan my entire library as it used to on my old XP one.
On the old system (exactly the same hardware but different OS) the Custom Scan Custom Tag module then started and took approximately the same amount of time to complete. (scanning just one custom tag) My new system takes about 8 hours to do the Custom Scan bit! Initially I assumed that this was due to it being the first scan but subsequent scans take just as long. I don't have the raw tags option enabled. Is there another setting that could be causing it to be so slow?
