The second menu level only include contributors with the role 5
(ALBUMARTIST), could it be that the VA albums doesn't have ALBUMARTIST
tags ?
Try changing "contributor_track.role in (5)" to "contributor_track.role
in (1,5)" and see if it makes any difference.
