Interesting conundrum. Personally, I'm chronically late for nearly
every appointment. Getting a 5 minute early shove out the door would be
a boon to me. So, perhaps this is a 'feature' rather than a 'bug'. ;-)

I don't have a SBRadio, so I can't really test this. I do have a
hardware beta SBTouch, however, so I'll try to replicate this on that.
SrvrPowerCtrl only reads alarm info...it doesn't try to set or otherwise
manipulate it. So I'm reasonably sure that SrvrPowerCtrl isn't
'causing' this early alarm.

A couple of ideas:

Is it possible that your server's clock is about 5 minutes behind the
time as reported on MySqueezebox.com? The radio (I believe) will always
use the backup alarm on mysb.com if the local server doesn't service the
alarm on time.

Also, is it possible that you have a 6:55 alarm set for the radio on
mysb.com?

Or maybe this is just a plain old bug in SBS's alarm code....a alarm
gets triggered on the SBRadio as soon as the server comes out of
standby. What happens if you set the wake-up time to 10 minutes before
the alarm time? Again, I'd think that the SBTouch would likely be
susceptible to the same bug, if it exists, so my testing ought to reveal
this.

In the mean time, may I suggest that you go to
SBS->Settings->Advanced->Logging, check 'Save logging settings for use
at next application restart' and set the '(player.alarmclock) - Player
Alarm Clock Logging' to 'Debug' and then reboot the server. You ought
to then see alarm related statements show up in the server.log...and
maybe they will shed some light on this situation.

Please let us know what you figure out on this. I'll try to test this
on my SBTouch sometime within a week's time.
