I had this same problem with "Cyril" FM streams when using the PlayReal plugin and (for the benefit of anyone who's searching for how to fix it in this scenario as the above fix isn't possible): its just a matter of setting "Fast Start" to "Disabled" in Settings->Plugins->PlayReal Audio->Settings - this does the same as above (removes the bandwidth setting).
That did the trick for me. Brian.
