This is a question I have asked on the Synology forum and as yet have no response. So, if there are any Synology users out there that can answer this, I would greatly appreciate it. I have a DS209 and everything works great (Duet and Radio). I am using the Synology supplied SBS package. I am getting ready to upgrade to 7.5. Here is my question:
Can someone tell me the best way to upgrade the SBS to a new version without losing settings, favorites, playlists, radio presets, etc? I see there is an upgrade option in the Package Management section of DSM; does that work in preserving the items I mentioned? I am running 7.4 which was loaded 4 months ago when I got my DS209. SBS has worked perfectly for me. I am considering an upgrade to support the Touch so this would be my first upgrade.
