SqueezeIR v0.61+ should work with SBS7.4+ (it even works with SBS7.6 last time I looked). SqueezeIR v0.7+ Is installed via the Applet Installer applet so can auto-reinstall after a firmware upgrade. All previous versions of SqueezeIR were installed manually and nedd a manual re-install.
