I agree. It's strange that Qnap's using a version of Glibc from -07 and
I should ask them if they can upgrade it in a future firmware. The
problem is that complaining to Qnap is unlikely to solve this any time
soon.

The question here is if Qnap is interested in upgrading. The Qnap runs
a Linux platform adopted for their NAS needs and my best guess is that
they don't make major changes like this without extensive testing.

If it's possible it would be great if Triode could provide a spotifyd
binary that's compatible with servers running on NAS-boxes like the
Qnap. I know that a lot people are running their SqueezeServers on such
devices for low power consumption and general ease of use.
