Well, all Squeezeboxes except for the Receiver have their own user interface. The Classic has a display and an IR remote, the Boom has buttons and a display, the Touch has a touch screen and so on. On the Radio, the Touch and the Controller this user interface is "SqueezePlay" and should behave like iPeng WRT menu commands. The older players (Classic, Boom) have a different user interface that is run through different code on the server and then there is the web interface which - again - has it's own code. If iPeng behaves different than SqueezePlay then it's probably iPeng related.
