Hi,

Ever since the upgrade to 1.2.5 on my iPhone 4 my ipeng has failed to
work properly. Caching is the problem. It shows the progress bar and
the artists will eventually populate. The albums (440 approx, 4200
songs) however, takes ages and seems to falter. It also seems to get as
far as albums beginning with Br<whatever>, then go back again to the
start leaving me with duplicates. I have tried stopping and starting
squeezecenter (7.4 running on Qnap 109) and flushing cache on ipeng,
leaving it all night, restaring ipeng, etc. Same problem when on the
iPad. Nothing else has changed, been using the same kit for couple of
years (with all the usual squeezecenter issues which usual get
resolved, system works for a while then something happens. It's why i'm
not upgrading to 7.5 - it was just working ok.). Sonos looks more
attractive month by month, I've almost given up on listening to mp4/aac
files on my system (not iPeng's fault, of course!)

Is anyone else having a problem with caching? Any suggestions? It's
probably something very simple... Prior ipeng versions worked just
fine. Should I delete squeezecenter cache files (if so, which ones?)

Setup:
QNAP TurboStation TS-109 / 3.2.0 build 0622T
Squeezebox Server 7.4.1-28947
SSODS 4.1 - 7.4.0
