I know that the latest version of iPeng has added new albums to the new
music menu automatically when iPeng was "multitasking", but when I
added a couple of newly ripped albums today they did not show up in
that menu. The artist and album menus were automatically re-cached but
no new albums appeared in the new music menu (the standard menu, not
the CB new albums menu; in the CB menu they appeared when I checked
after a cache flush). I flushed the cache but the new music menu stayed
the same; the artist and album menus were re-cached. The new albums are
shown in the artist and album menus. In the new music menu on the
controller and in the web UI the added albums show up. I added the new
albums through a scan for new and changed music. A custom scan for
rating tags was running when I looked in the new music menu. I am on
SBS 7.5.2 on Win XP.

I use iOS4 with multitasking on my iPhone 4. When I woke the iPhone up
it was on the now playing screen and when I switched to the library
screens it was on the new music screen; I do not know if I was on that
screen when the automatic update worked before with this version of
iPeng and if this might be the cause.

First when I completely shut down iPeng (closed it through the
multitasking bar on the iPhone) and restarted iPeng the new music menu
was refreshed and the new albums shown.
