Cancel my last posting - with much brain-ache I've now got everything working! And with a menu. It's absolutely brilliant - thank you so much for your guidance. Interestingly, though, the IR codes for volume up/down - as listed by Arcam for my amp - don't work. Yet the old ones I used before do. No matter - I've used them. Everything else is wonderful. I'm now wondering whether Panasonic TVs use the RC-5 protocol. The challenge is endless!
