Response to my own message / update: - I went back to MySQL - made multiple rescans - I also deleted the folder "C:\Program Files\Moose\Thumbs that included a hues.hues file (as I configured Moose to store thumbnails in a different folder on my D: drive) - disabled the option "Out of Date Warning" It now works fine.... Thumbnails generated and Moose not crashing on clicking on certain albums. And I am not too sure why. Stating this in case someone else gets the same issue.
