Typically, if you use this mode, you probably don't want to have a SBS music library configured, otherwise you'll effectively be scanning the same set of files twice (scans would take twice as long).
"Only read mixable status..." on the other hand will only ask MusicIP for each song in the SBS library whether it is mixable, and not request other song information. Put another way, it uses the SBS scanner for tag info, and MusicIP for mixable status only. I would say "Import All..." is not an advantage; it only has disadvantages.
