Okay.  So I'm not clear why this is needed then.  Doesn't windows vista
come with its own media sharing application (via Windows Media player)?

In other words, windows comes with the ability to already stream your
library of music right?  I thought Whitebear allowed you to play
everything that squeezebox plays (such as pandora, etc.)?
