Is the missing artwork being shown in the Squeezebox Server's web interface? Do you use the iTunes integration in your Squeezebox Server settings? iTunes doesn't add the artwork to the tags but keeps it in a separate library so the server can't scan it. Since this probably will also not work on the Qnap it's time to add these artwork files as "folder.jpg" files to your albums, I'm afraid.
