It's been a while since I've tested this, but in the past SBTouches and SBRadios have issued spurious WOL packets seemingly randomly and for no good reason and these end up waking the SBS server.
This is the primary reason why I'm so anxious to see bug 15396 fixed. http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15396 I commented on this bug back in November of 2009 and the bug has been sitting there for more than a year. If we had a reliable way to fetch SBTouches, SBRadios, etc. back from mysqueezebox.com, then SrvrPowerCtrl's "push to mysb.com on sleep" feature would be perfect for this problem. With the Touch connected to mysb.com, no spurious WOL packets are issued and the SBS server stays asleep. So, if your Squeezebox is a Touch or Radio or Controler...then there isn't a solution to this problem...it's really a Logitech bug. But if your Squeezebox is a Receiver, SBClassic or Transporter, then something else is going on and maybe we can debug this. -- gharris999 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ gharris999's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=115 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48521 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
