Need to see the error messages around this and from the helper app log at around this time. This suggests that the helper is sending a json response which is not well formed - it usually means the connection between the helper and server broke, but lets see. There was minimal changes to the helper between 1.3.0 and 1.3.1 and it didn't include responses to search commands.
