May you define little more, please? > Sometime after 7.3. an automated installation method (a further development of the Extension procedure) for plugins was impemented in SBS. Just go to WebUI Settings/Plugins - enable listing of 3rd party plugins, under 3rd Party plugins you check the "Wave Input" box and click Apply. SBS will download, untar, copy into right directory and change owner & permissions - all automatically. This is now the preferred way for users to install plugins as many of the common install mistakes which happen doing a manual install cannot happen.
The end result is the same as step 1-6 but for users unfamiliar with shell etc. - it simplifies the task. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=49584 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
