Triode, Many thanks. Streaming to just one player seems to help a little, but is not conclusively better. I guess it probably is the bandwidth on my network - although if you can tell me anything more from the attached log, that would be great. Starts ok, but after a couple of minutes it all starts to go wrong. My setup, for what it's worth, is a cable router downstairs connected to a (very recent and in principle high speed) homeplug that links to my upstairs study. Players are scattered around the house, but have good wifi signal (80%+). If there is a weak link, I suspect it's in the homeplug link back to the router but my internet speed in the study is >30Mbps, so that would be a bit surprising. Thanks again.
