Hello Everyone, I have a SB Touch connected to a Hitachi USB External Drive 500GB directly. So far no issues none whatsoever. It lies on my bedside table and plugged into the amp through a long interconnect.
I bought an iPod Touch 4G after a demo on an iPhone 3GS and an iPhone 4 of my colleagues of iPeng. Worked like a charm and therefore I bought me one so that I can move the SB Touch close to the amp. I made an Apple ID and downloaded/installed iPeng. Connected easily but, I don't see the 'seek' bar where you can seek forward or backward in a song. There are two bars one at the top and one at the bottom but both control volume. All other functions the SB Touch remote were performing any way except for a smooth seek button. I don't have much use for the iPod Touch except for this and I don't want to waste $400. Therefore I am here to 'seek' some help.
