Hello together, i already posted this in the german forum, but get no answer. Perhaps you guys can help me out with my issue.
I took a Synology DS-111 with the SQB Server 7.5.3. The softsqueez i used the versions 3.7, 3.8 and at last 3.9b2. The problem was that the Softsqueeze did not want to connect with my Server by hostnames. With wireshark i could see that there was exchanged "discover request" and "response" but the connection does not happen. The TCP session is not established (further i could see that the server is sending out an address like 110.153.0.0??) like it is normally done. Instead of this the pc on which the softsqueeze is installed is sending out an ARP request of an ip-address which is currently not existing in the network. But this address was given to another Synology DiskStation with SQB server installed a few days ago. This was also used by the particular PC and Softsqueeze. The hostname of a Synology is always "DiskStation"! So now i assume that the Softsqueeze is using some kind of cache where its connection data to SQB server is stored. Is there any files that i can delete? Additional information: Happens on win XP as well as on win 7! For every answer i will be thankful.
