The Softsqueeze settings will be stored as a node in Java Preferences. 
Where Java preferences are stored depends on your OS.  

On Windows the preferences are stored in the registry something like
Software/Javasoft/Prefs/org/titmuss/softsqueeze

However I think softsqueeze only stores a hostname - it asks the OS to
get the IP for that host name.  Windows has a cache for name lookups so
perhaps you should clear the windows lookup caches.
