whoa it's sensitive to file paths? hmmm that rings a bell. been a couple of years since i've played with this :) could explain my trouble....
i'm messing around on how to do this on a separate server. Reason being I run SBS on a solaris 10 x86 box (ZFS, RAID-Z, and a giant archive of data). What I did a couple years back was run a Linux zone virtually on the same server, and it worked out ok. What i've been trying this time is running it on a Debian server on the same network, mounting the music via NFS, and then doing an ssh port-forward back from the solaris box. yes i know, seems like i'm going out of my way to make it more difficult :) just experimenting. I can go back to the linux zone method, it's just another thing to set up. What I'll probably end up doing in the longterm, is just make the solaris box a giant NFS server for applications like SBS, and then running stuff on Debian or something. Solaris had a good run but now that Oracle owns it we'll see even less people in the opensource community supporting it. -- mbw23 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ mbw23's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=20248 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=86730 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
