The plugin only processes the BBC metadata (though there is some caching in the server but not for that long). Suggest you fetch the mediaselector url for the problem stream and see what the wma url is - I would suspect its wrong. Turning on debugging for bbciplayer.parser should show you which urls it is fetching. If you fetch the same thing in a browser I suspect you will see the bbc data is wrong, but let me know if not.
