It looks like a BBC issue. It looks like the WMA streams will be OK for programs *originally* broadcast within the last 7 days but if the requested program is older than 7 days the WMA will be wrong even though the program has been rebroadcast in the last 7 days.
I'm not sure if the BBC bug is that they have included a WMA media stream when none is available or whether the WMA URL generation mechanism is faulty For example. The Secret History of Social Networking: Episode 1 The first part of the RTMP URL is rtmpt://bbcmedia.fcod.llnwd.net/a1414/e3/mp4:radio4/secure_auth/international/RBN2_radio_4_fm_-_wednesday_1100_b00xw0gt_2011_01_26_12_12_06.mp4 The mp4 "file" name seems to have station, day, hour and date of the original broadcast which was 26 Jan 2011 But the ultimate WMA URL is mms://wm.bbc.co.uk/wms2/radio4fmcoyopa/radio_4_fm_-_wednesday_1100.wma The WMA "file" name only has a station, day and hour but no date and so will repeat every 7 days whereas the AAC RTMP URL seems to have additional information including date of original broadcast. -- bpa ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87776 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
