I've recently started to see a similar effect on my SB3. I have a DPL
configured for my alarm clock, which used to start fine, but in the last few
weeks the alarm would sometimes fire, but not play anything. i.e. Now Playing
= blank. If I press play, it then starts playback.

I have rescanned recently to take on more music in my library, and the DPL is
playing random music using MusicIP (through a plugin) filtered based on rating
and other stats, so maybe it takes longer to work out possible content.

I think sometimes MIP doesn't seem ready to respond:
[22:31:11.9065] Plugins::DynamicMix::Plugin::SendtoMIPSync (512) MIP Response
Error 500 read timeout

Pressing play a subsequent time to try again gets a quick reply from MIP (0.2
secs).

I suspect I have trouble elsewhere, eg. Windows TCP/IP issue, router issue,
etc, as I found that restarting the PC + restarting router fixed the issue for
a few days. Perhaps wake from hibernation has started to affect something.

Does any of this sound related to your experience?

Phil
