I'm in the UK and have problems connecting to several stations. As others have mentioned, Radio 3 does not connect but Radio 3 HD does; Radio 4 FM and Radio 4 Extra do not connect but Radio 4 LW does. BBC World Service does not.
For me, there are two distinct sets of symptoms: in the first, the station logo appears, the Connecting message is displayed and then disappears but there's no sound; in the second, the station logo appears, the Connecting message appears but never disappears. Radio 3 and Radio 4 FM exhibits the first symptoms, the other stations I mentioned (and more that I haven't - the local stations) the second.
