Hello everyone,

I'm also pleased to iPeng playback function for iPhone, especially when
i'm not at home.
For this i access to the squeezebox server through an IPsec VPN, the
iPhone connected in wifi in most cases (public hotspot, hotel, etc).

All my music database is in FLAC format (lossless).
To listen remotely my music, i have to force transcoding because the
outgoing bandwidth of my home internet connection (where is the
squeezebox server) is not sufficient to play remotely FLAC files.
This work fine.

It's possible to force this transcoding from 'Settings->Player
Settings->Audio' of the Squeezebox server GUI.

In wifi mode, my problem is that iPeng resets the 'maxBitrate'
parameter of the player at the server level (verified in the
server.prefs file).
At each iPeng restart (in wifi mode), i must change this setting from
the Squeezebox server GUI. It is not very usefull.

To avoid this, it should be:
- in wifi mode, iPeng should not reset this setting
- or, this setting can be modified from iPeng interface (player setting
screen)

Finally it is my own suggestion to improve the iPeng ergonomics.

Regards,
Emmanuel
